Stanford Biosciences PhD Orientation & Lab Coat Ceremony

Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs, Dr. Sheri Krams, hosts this welcome event to
welcome incoming PhD students to Stanford Biosciences.

All incoming PhD students are invited to join us for:

•  A faculty and student panel discussion, sharing insights for first-year PhD students.
• Department recognitions of the incoming cohort by name as they put on their lab coat and officially join the Biosciences community.
• A collective reading of the Biosciences Affirmation.
• A dinner and dessert reception.

Check-in/networking begins at 3:30pm

Event to begin promptly at 4:00pm

Please note this event is only open to first year PhD students. Guests and community will be invited to participate virtually via the livestream.
