3 Minute Thesis Informational Workshop
Join us for a dynamic workshop where participants will learn more about 3MT, and explore strategies used in winning 3MTs to gain ideas for crafting your own presentation. Helen Lie, lecturer in the Program in Writing and Rhetoric and Oral Communication, will guide you through essential aspects including talk structure, explanatory techniques, and the characteristics of engaging titles and visuals.
Dissertation Boot Camp
The Hume Center is holding an online Dissertation Boot Camp (DBC 1) next week from Monday, September 29th through Friday, October 10th from 9am-1pm. DBC is open to any graduate student in any field who wants to make progress on their writing, learn about writing productivity strategies, and enjoy a positive writing space with like-minded others!
